This area of the website is dedicated to providing you with some fun, exciting and engaging challenges and activities that you may wish to complete alongside your daily home learning. We will update this page with ideas for you to take part in and also post daily suggestions on Twitter. Try to have a go at completing one challenge each day!

EYFS/KS1: create your own puppets and puppet show telling a story you have created.

KS2:choose your favourite book and record a video book review to share with your family.

EYFS/KS1: create a new vehicle for the future using Lego.

KS2: imagine a zoo has asked you to design a new hybrid animal. Design it and then create an advert for it.

Wednesday 25th March 2020

EYFS/KS1: create your own board-game to play with your family.

KS2: a theme park has asked you to design a new roller-coaster to increase visitor numbers, come up with a fun and exciting design.

EYFS/KS1: Create an indoor obstacle course and challenge your adults to a race.

KS2: Design a paper aeroplane. How far can it travel? How long does it fly?

EYFS/KS1:  How many hops can you do in a minute?

KS2: How long can you do 'keepy-uppys' with a household object?

EYFS/KS1: build the tallest tower you can using lego or another object.

KS2: choreograph or learn a dance routine either by yourself or with your family.

EYFS/KS1: create your own superhero. Draw them and tell us their superpower!

KS2: create your own comic book with your own hero, villain and dilemma.

EYFS/KS1: hide 'treasure' in your home then create a map for your family to find it.

KS2: choose a backing track and then write your own lyrics to go with it.

EYFS/KS1: create a picture of yourself using things you can only find in your pens or pencils!

KS2: build a playing card pyramid or domino stack and then demolish it without using your hands!

KS2: You've been asked to design and promote a brand new hotel. Design it, Create it, Promote it!

KS2: Let your child be the teacher for a lesson. What can they teach you?

EYFS/KS1: Can you build a bridge that holds something heavy? Use materials of your choice.

KS2: You are elected as the ruler of a city. Create a flag and write down your city’s rules.

EYFS/KS1: Use lego or another material to create a habitat for an animal of your choosing. 

KS2: An endangered animal needs you to create a suitable enclosure for it. Design and make the animal a home.

KS2: Write your own poem for a family member or friend that you are missing.

EYFS/KS1: Create your own hat using recycled materials from around your house. 

KS2: Act out your scene from your favourite book. You could even make some props!
