Welcome to our virtual open event
As we move out of 2020 and look towards 2021 with hope that school life will gradually become more like the 'old-normal' that we know and love, we know many of you will be applying for a place for your child in Upper Foundation Stage for September 2021 or looking for your child to start nursery. Your decisions this year will largely be based on more remote judgements than school visits and Open-Days in their truest sense.
While you can't beat actually seeing it for yourself, we have thought about what parents have asked us, what we would want to tell you and we have prepared some documents to help you get a flavour of life at Dane Royd Junior and Infant School.
Throughout the pandemic, through the school closure in March and opening to the children of key workers, the wider opening in June 2020 and the full opening in September 2020 we have focused on the well-being of the children in our school. We were judged by Ofsted to be an outstanding school in November 2018 and we have continued to drive the school forward, meeting the needs of the children we are teaching right now.
We learn from everything we do. We have a dual focus on safety and well being whilst ensuring your child can thrive in our enriched learning environment.
