Welcome to Dane Royd Parent,

Teacher and Friends Association

At Dane Royd School, our Parent, Teacher, and Friends Association (PTFA) plays a key role in building a strong and supportive school community. We bring together parents, carers, teachers, and friends to help enrich school life through fundraising, events, and volunteering.

From organising fun activities for the children to raising funds for extra resources and experiences, the PTFA is here to make a positive difference in every pupil’s journey.

Whether you have time to spare or just want to stay informed, we’d love for you to get involved, every little bit helps!

Why Join the PTFA?

Joining the PTFA isn’t just about volunteering, it’s about being part of something meaningful. Here are some great reasons to get involved:

  • Be Informed & Have a Voice

Stay in the loop with what’s happening in school and have a say in how funds are raised and spent.

  • Support Your Child’s Education

Every event and fundraising activity helps enhance your child’s learning environment with extra resources, equipment, and experiences.

  • Build a Stronger School Community

Meet other parents, carers, and staff, and be part of a team working towards a shared goal.

  • Have Fun & Make Memories

Help plan exciting events like school fairs, discos, and more, creating lasting memories for everyone.

  • Learn New Skills

Whether it’s event planning, marketing, finance, or simply working as part of a team, there are lots of ways to get involved and grow.

  • Make a Real Difference

Your time and input, no matter how big or small, can have a direct, positive impact on the school and its pupils.

Message from the Chair

My name is Kelly and I am the chair of the PTFA. I have been in post as the chair for two years. The last few years have been a real eye opener to what happens in school on a day to day basis and the impact that the funds we raise have on the school.

I joined the PTFA because I wanted to give something back to the school and during the last three years being involved it has been a great experience for me to see how the funds raised have impacted the children all the way through the school.

I do this role voluntarily alongside working full time in recruitment so any additional support is always grateful! For anyone thinking of joining - please come along to a meeting or just get in touch with me to see how you can help.
